A fundamental value, not tokenism

'Diversity' is often thrown around – a quick fix buzzword. Not here. We've been fundamentally diverse right from the start, active in cultures, languages and markets across the globe. This is due to Roland Berger's uniquely European origins – unparalleled in a consultancy firm of this size.

Great ideas and new perspectives are inspired by diverse teams from a variety of backgrounds, enriching us with new insights, interests and ways of looking at things.

It's not just a men's world

We can't reach our full potential by failing to tap in to over half of the world's talent pool. Increasing the representation of women at Roland Berger is top on our list of priorities, including our CEO's. This is no small matter. We are committed to hearing you and unleashing your potential.

We hold recruiting events exclusively for women, where students can meet and network with our female colleagues. You'll receive insights on their experiences and have the chance to build relationships.

For new starters, we establish contacts among female colleagues and establish networks of mutual support.

We are committed to real change, led by women, so that we become a better organization. Long-term, together and at every level.

LGBT - Diversity is much more

Open minded teams integrating people with diverse talent, nationalities, genders, religious or sexual orientations are key for our success. At Roland Berger, we foster an environment of respect where all colleagues feel welcome and accepted how they are.

Our LGBT network "Just be" is a global and caring community for LGBT* colleagues to facilitate professional exchange and mentoring. It connects colleagues from all offices around the world and is a forum to discuss questions and concerns. If you have any questions, our HR colleagues would be pleased to establish a contact to a member of our LGBT network. We will of course handle your request with utmost confidentiality. Be authentic. Just be.

Hasmeet, Project Manager | Automotive

I am a Project Manager with Roland Berger's Automotive Competence Center based out of Munich. I have a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Biochemistry as well as a post-graduate diploma in Management. I joined Roland Berger's Delhi office in February 2013. If I summarize my experience with Roland Berger so far, the one word that comes to my mind is 'dynamic': Over the last 4.5 years I have worked on 25 projects in 14 different countries – ranging from Japan, France, China, Mexico all the way to Iran – with very international and diverse teams. Every project that we do is unique and hence very intellectually challenging.

Amanda, Senior Consultant | Consumer Goods & Retail

I joined Roland Berger in 2016 because the company allowed me to focus on a certain industry within my consulting career. What I mostly appreciated during the several projects over the last two years are the characters I met – colleagues and client wise. It's the common understanding among all employees to strive for results beyond borders. Moreover, this highly dynamic working environment constantly challenged me from an intellectual as well as personal perspective.
