Intern Reviews

  • “Firm culture was very helpful, and there is a healthy balance of case work with firm events, both intern-focused and office-focused. Number of hours expected to work is demanding, though mostly frontloaded in beginning of week (M-W) making hours on Th-F more manageable.”
  • “The hours are long and demanding. The company does make some effort to provide some work-life balance (e.g., no work whatsoever on weekends).”
  • “Culture is positive, stimulating, collaborative. I feel empowered to carve out time for myself for personal commitments.”
  • “Flexible about working hours considering the industry, flexible about WFH. Worked ~55 hours most weeks, slightly less than a full time post-MBA. Full-time staff are generally willing to speak candidly about their time at the firm. Partners make themselves available to interns for lunch, coffee chats, office hours.”

Getting Hired Here

  • “The interviews were difficult, but fair considering the level of work expected during the internship. I felt like the firm's standards must have been pretty high as each member of my internship class has impressive credentials and a brilliant mind.”
  • “I thought their interviewing process was more rigorous than any other company I applied to. Each interviewer was friendly and prepared and there was a stronger emphasis on quant than qual. I am not in the best position to judge selectivity.”
  • “Two rounds of interviews, 4 case interviews and 1 presentation interview, both rounds being quite challenging but relatively straightforward (except for the presentation).”
