&lt;p&gt;We&#39;re two weeks away from releasing our 2011 Top 50 Accounting Firms rankings, based on the results of our annual accounting survey in which we ask accounting professionals across North America to rate their own firms in terms of several quality of life categories, and to rate other firms in terms of prestige.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This year, a record number of accountants replied to our survey: more than 2,000 accounting professionals responded. As part of the survey, these professionals were asked to rate their overall job satisfaction on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being &lt;span style=&quot;font-style: italic;&quot;&gt;entirely fulfilled&lt;/span&gt; and 1 being &lt;span style=&quot;font-style: italic;&quot;&gt;completely unsatisfied&lt;/span&gt;). Vault also asked respondents to rate their treatment by managers on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being &lt;span style=&quot;font-style: italic;&quot;&gt;very respectful&lt;/span&gt; and 1 being ve&lt;span style=&quot;font-style: italic;&quot;&gt;ry disrespectful&lt;/span&gt;).
