&lt;p&gt;Chances are if you work in finance (no matter what area: investment banking, investment management, commercial banking, etc.) you have been asked hundreds of times by friends and family alike who do not understand exactly what you do if you have a good stock tip for them.  Now, instead of telling them, &quot;That&#39;s not what I do, I don&#39;t really work with stocks, etc.,&quot; you can just tell them that you do have a tip, and then get their email addresses and send them this link to the &lt;i&gt;Wall Street Journal&lt;/i&gt;&#39;s latest Best on the Street ranking, highlighting the top stock pickers in the U.S. On the list there are, of course, analysts from household-name firms such as Goldman Sachs and Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, but you also will find several folks from lesser-known institutions such as Canaccord Adams and Keefe Bruyette &amp; Woods and Stifel Nicolaus, among others.&lt;/p&gt;
