In keeping with the spirit of Mr. Jefferson (scroll back to Wednesday's post "Don't Forget To Do Your Exercises"), Pink Slipped would like to shine the spotlight on one of our newest friends, the Job Search Ninja. Editor's Note: This is an incredibly difficult task, as ninjas are highly elusive and skilled in the art of camouflage. Luckily for us, this particular ninja maintains a blog chock full of great job search advice, which makes it easy for us to learn his mysterious ways (and to uncover his secret identity).

The Job Search Ninja's most recent post is apropos to our discussion of the importance of exercise during a layoff, and outlines various ways to stay active while between jobs. In addition to exercise, all kinds of mind-sharpening tasks are suggested, from brewing your own beer to simply going to the library and reading. For ninjas, mental acuity is of utmost importance, so you know these are going to be sound bits of advice. Check out the full post here, and be sure to check in with The Job Search Ninja frequently for his advice and wisdom.

Of course, we'd be doing a great disservice to you loyal followers of Pink Slipped if we didn't give you the classic, definitive scoop on ninjas. Consider yourselves educated, and be thankful that the Job Search Ninja -- and not the greatest ninja fail in history, embedded below -- is in our corner.
