Hey now -- guess there is some evidence of employer optimism after all.  In contrast to an earlier post on that group&#39;s pessimistic tendencies, CNNMoney.com reports that General Motors, AMD (Advanced Micro Devices), Seagate Technologies and the Horn Group are among the firms that have restored salaries to earlier levels after cuts.
