Party like it's 2001

Do you have the unemployment blues? You could express it in song, like this so-bad-it's-kinda good example (reminding me of a Beat Happening* parody):

Or you can go to a Pink Slip Party (not affiliated with our little blog). If you live near Conshohocken, PA or Edison, NJ, bop on over to JobCircle's Pink Slip Parties. They invite you to "Simply come, enjoy some good food, buy yourself a drink and meet area HR professionals, recruiters and hiring managers in a relaxed environment."

So I was thinking about ways you might differentiate yourself from the other job seekers there...like maybe having a signature recession dance move? For inspiration, check out "The Dance of Unemployment":

That one's fascinating, but not really an example of an easily replicable dance. So how about this "Recession Dance"? Definitely one that any of us can master:

At the very least, you can't say these people aren't having fun...
