Social media job search success, straight from the Twitter's
Published: Feb 18, 2009
From the Blog of , who, if you are on Twitter, will hook you up with personalized recommendations on people you should be interacting with and useful stats of your Twitter usage, comes the social media job search success story of Michael Litman. Mr. Litman is currently employed as a Social Media Strategist for Consolidated PR in London, and he was headhunted and hired solely through Twitter. Mr. Tweet has reposted Mr. Litman's original blog post on how he did it and how you can too. And just in case you feel like I've been going a bit too Twitter crazy over here, observe this choice quote:
"My original motivation for joining Twitter wasn't to find a new job through it, I was interested in a new way of communicating, a tool which is a round the clock way of getting answers to questions from all across the world. It's always on and always useful!"
So there you go. This guy went from being uninterested in job searching through Twitter to a social media job search inspiration - just imagine what you're capable of with his and our advice at your disposal. Personally, I'd like to think that PinkSlipped is "always on and always useful" as well.
