&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;Q:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span&gt; I am not in HR at my company, but we have a noticeable diversity problem in our office. While we have some “social” diversity—which in my mind means people of different religions, ages, sexual orientations, etc—we don’t have much &lt;em&gt;racial&lt;/em&gt; diversity. We &lt;em&gt;do&lt;/em&gt; have many female employees; I am one of them, and I’m pleased overall with how many women there are at the company. However, I am interested to find out what kinds of places have great diversity. Any ideas?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;A:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span&gt; First of all, it’s great that you’re noticing the lack of diversity and you’re interested in doing something about it.
