We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager with expertise in small business lending to join our team. You have experience with tools such as Jira, Monday, Confluence and communication tools like Zendesk. You will be instrumental in ensuring successful delivery of business credit solutions. You oversee the product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business goals, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Customer Support, to gather requirements and define product features and enhancements.
· Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and customer needs, translating them into product requirements.
· Define and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer priorities.
· Work closely with development and leadership teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features and enhancements.
· Monitor product performance, conduct data analysis, and gather user feedback to drive continuous improvement and inform product decision-making.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop go-to-market strategies and launch plans for new product features and enhancements.
· Serve as a strong advocate for customers, ensuring their needs are considered throughout the product development lifecycle.
· Experience with small business lending products and portfolio monitoring tools is a plus.

Education and Experience

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
· 3 to 5 years of experience with a focus on lending solutions.
· Knowledge on how API’s, webhooks work.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
· Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, marketers, and executives.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with a customer-centric mindset.
· Proven ability to influence and drive consensus among stakeholders.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.

About the Role

As an Underwriter at Biz2Credit, you will play a vital role in evaluating loan applications and assisting with the underwriting process.

We are currently seeking an experienced Mid Level Underwriter to join our team at the NY Office. In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive financial analysis on small businesses, including trend and ratio analysis. Your expertise will be crucial in interpreting financial information to assess credit quality and cash flow, enabling us to make informed lending decisions.

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Review loan applications and supporting documentation to determine eligibility and creditworthiness of borrowers.</li>
<li>Analyze financial statements, credit reports, tax returns, and other relevant data to assess risk and make informed lending decisions.</li>
<li>Conduct comprehensive due diligence and verify accuracy of information provided by applicants.</li>
<li>Responsible for full cycle underwriting of assigned small business financing.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Underwriting team to identify potential red flags and mitigate risk.</li>
<li>Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and underwriting guidelines to ensure compliance.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, to gather necessary information and clarify requirements.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of underwriting decisions and findings.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory in finance, accounting, or a related field</li>
<li>Previous experience in underwriting, credit analysis, or a similar role is preferred.</li>
<li>3 or more year of experience</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.</li>
<li>Familiarity with financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports.</li>
<li>Knowledge of underwriting principles, lending regulations, and risk assessment methodologies.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Proficient in using MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.</li>

The Funding Specialist is a key member of our sales team, responsible for helping small business owners access the capital they need to grow and succeed. In this role, you’ll deliver a full range of financial solutions—including Working Capital, Term Loans, Lines of Credit, ERTC Loans, and government-backed products like SBA 7(a) Loans.

By collaborating with colleagues across underwriting, credit, and legal, you’ll ensure a seamless client experience while contributing directly to the growth and profitability of the business.

Prospect and Generate Leads: Utilize various channels, such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital marketing, to identify and engage potential partners who can benefit from our lending services.</li>

Consultative Selling: Understand the unique financial needs of prospective clients and provide tailored MCA lending solutions that align with their business goals and requirements. including but not limited to: Working capital, Term-loan, Line of Credit, ERTC Loan along with government lending such as SBA 7a Loan. </li>

Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with partners, acting as their primary point of contact throughout the entire sales process and beyond.</li>
<li>
Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to evaluate clients' financial situations, cash flow, and repayment capabilities to determine the feasibility of different lending and funding options.</li>
<li>
Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in business lending and related financial products to effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits to clients.</li>
<li>
Offer Development: Prepare and present comprehensive proposals that outline the terms, conditions, rates, and repayment schedules of lending solutions.</li>
<li>
Negotiation and Closing: Engage in price negotiations, address objections, and work towards closing deals that are mutually beneficial for the client and the company.</li>

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, credit, and legal departments, to ensure a smooth and efficient loan origination process.</li>

Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, prospects, and sales activities using the CRM system.</li>

Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by actively pursuing new business opportunities and maximizing revenue potential from existing clients.</li>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.</li>
<li>
Languages Preferred: Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Spanish is highly preferred, as this role requires frequent communication with a diverse client base.</li>
<li>
Experience: Proven track record of success in sales or business development, preferably in the financial services industry.</li>
<li>
Experience with Revenue Based Funding or alternative financing products is highly desirable.</li>
<li>
Established Book of Business: History of working with established ISO partners in space.</li>
<li>
Strong understanding of financial concepts, including cash flow analysis, credit evaluation, and repayment structures. Familiarity with small business financing options and the MCA lending market is a plus.</li>
<li>
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate complex financial concepts and build rapport with clients.</li>
<li>
Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify client needs, overcome objections, and close sales deals. Strong negotiation and persuasive skills are essential.</li>
<li>
Relationship Management: A customer-centric approach with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Prior experience in managing a client portfolio is advantageous.</li>
<li>
Results-Driven: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and work independently in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.</li>
<li>
Technology Proficiency: Comfortable in working within CRM systems, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite for sales documentation and reporting.</li>
