<h4>The Role</h4>
The Block Customer Operations Quality Management (QM) program plays a key role in bringing that mission to life for our customers. The Quality Management team's role is to monitor customer interactions from our voice, messaging, email, and social channels and measure adherence to business-level processes, regulatory requirements, and customer experience expectations, to ensure our business interactions are compliant and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
We're seeking an experienced QM Excellence Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, customer operations strategy, and performance analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive quality management strategies across Customer Operations, driving CSAT capabilities, and ensuring standardization of quality processes. You will work cross-functionally and aid in identifying goals and opportunities within the Quality Management organization. You will support, develop and document strategies for achieving these goals, support the execution of these initiatives and drive alignment and focus to improve the customer experience and maintain quality-focused outcomes. This position requires analytical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization to enhance customer experience through data-driven quality initiatives.
<h4>You Will</h4>
<ul>
<li>Manage and refine QM strategy across Customer Operations to align with business objectives and customer experience goals</li>
<li>Partner with teams within Quality Management and Governance umbrella to ensure business continuity and strategic alignment</li>
<li>Understand the business and organizational strategy and roadmap for the abstraction you support</li>
<li>Successfully exert subject matter expertise and the ability to drive focus and strategic alignment</li>
<li>Drive CSAT capabilities and standardization across Customer Operations teams, ensuring consistent quality measurement and improvement processes</li>
<li>Support programmatic initiatives within the AI space</li>
<li>Provide periodic strategy progress updates to key stakeholders, presenting insights, metrics, and recommendations for continuous improvement</li>
<li>Work closely with various stakeholders and leaders to help identify opportunities, inefficiencies and solve strategic problems across quality management</li>
<li>Oversee QM headcount and capacity planning, ensuring optimal resource allocation and operational efficiency</li>
<li>Define and manage saturation and sampling approaches for quality assessments, establishing methodologies that provide accurate and actionable insights</li>
<li>Collaborate cross-functionally with operations leaders, analytics teams, and other stakeholders to identify quality improvement opportunities</li>
<li>Develop and maintain quality frameworks, processes, and documentation to support scalable operations</li>
<li>Analyze quality trends and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and drive operational excellence</li>
</ul>
<h4>You Have</h4>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of proven collaboration and teamwork skills in a professional environment</li>
<li>3+ years of experience in quality management, customer operations, or related strategic roles with demonstrated success in process improvement and standardization</li>
<li>3+ years of experience demonstrating strong executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills</li>
<li>Demonstrated expertise in CSAT measurement, quality assurance methodologies, AI, and sampling strategies</li>
<li>Demonstrated strategic planning skills with experience in data-driven decision making</li>
<li>Experience with capacity planning, resource management, and operational forecasting</li>
<li>And drive initiatives from conception to execution</li>
<li>Exceptional capability managing multiple ongoing projects and programs</li>
<li>Proficiency working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while also contributing individually</li>

The Role
We're looking for a Compensation Program Manager to manage and optimize intermediate to complex compensation programs. You will leverage your strong project execution skills and establish yourself as a subject matter expert in the delivery and maintenance of our compensation programs. You will help improve compensation processes, manage cross-functional partnerships, and ensure consistent and effective execution of Block's compensation strategy.
You Will
<ul>
<li>Manage intermediate to complex compensation programs, with a focus on detail, compliance, and improvement.</li>
<li>Analyze data and industry trends to inform decisions and drive program enhancements.</li>
<li>Exercise autonomy in managing compensation programs, seeking strategic direction where needed.</li>
<li>Oversee small project teams as applicable, providing guidance and support.</li>
<li>Take ownership of assigned compensation programs, becoming the go-to subject matter expert (SME).</li>
<li>Build relationships with teams to establish a strong internal network.</li>
<li>Demonstrate proficiency in Compensation program design, project management, and operational standards.</li>
</ul>
You Have
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience as a compensation analyst, consultant, or other similar role</li>
<li>Experience managing compensation programs from design to implementation.</li>
<li>Exceptional knowledge of Google Sheets.</li>
<li>Experience working collaboratively with teams such as People, Finance, and Legal.</li>
<li>Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.</li>
<li>Knowledge of relevant compensation regulations and compliance standards.</li>

The Role

Our Open Source Program Office (OSPO) advances that work, keeping openness a competitive advantage that fuels Block's purpose of economic empowerment.
We're hiring a staff-level Open Source Program Manager to help strengthen and scale Block's open source practice. You will deepen adoption across teams and shape the systems that make openness effortless, while expanding our presence in the broader ecosystem.
Block's open source momentum is real, from projects like <a href="https://block.github.io/goose/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">goose</a> to a steady rise in engagement across engineering. The next step is turning that energy into durable programs. As part of OSPO within engineering, you'll focus on enabling people more than policy: supporting teams as they apply open source and InnerSource practices, simplifying complex systems, and bringing clarity to a network of partners inside and outside the company.
You'll work closely with colleagues from across the company to align strategy and streamline how open collaboration happens at Block. The role calls for systems thinking, empathy, and a knack for turning principles into action.
You Will
<ul>
<li>Lead the design and delivery of Block's open source and InnerSource enablement programs, focusing on internal adoption, education, and engagement.</li>
<li>Build scalable systems and playbooks that make open collaboration the default way of working.</li>
<li>Partner with engineering leads to embed open source and InnerSource principles into our daily development lifecycle.</li>
<li>Coordinate across legal, security, comms, and design to simplify processes and clarify ownership for teams engaging in open source work.</li>
<li>Be a bridge between engineering and external foundations and standards bodies, ensuring alignment with product and platform goals.</li>
<li>Develop lightweight feedback and measurement mechanisms to assess maturity, impact, and adoption of open source practices across the organization.</li>
<li>Shape internal education efforts that help people understand what “default to open” means in a regulated environment, and how to participate safely and effectively.</li>
<li>Collaborate with developer relations and communications to tell the story of Block's open source efforts internally and externally.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to streamline or automate repetitive processes, removing friction for teams while maintaining compliance and quality.</li>
<li>Model and promote asynchronous, transparent communication and collaboration across teams and disciplines.</li>
</ul>
You Have
<ul>
<li>10+ years of experience leading programs in technical environments, with exposure to open source, InnerSource, or developer platforms.</li>
<li>An understanding of open source ecosystems, community governance, and the role of standards bodies and foundations (e.g., W3C, Linux Foundation).</li>
<li>Experience designing and scaling enablement programs that change how people work, not just what they deliver.</li>
<li>The ability to translate between technical, legal, and organizational languages, simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences.</li>
<li>A systems mindset: you see patterns, design frameworks, and create durable structures that outlast individual projects.</li>
<li>Curiosity, care, and a genuine belief in the power of openness to drive innovation and community.</li>
</ul>
