About the Company
Ingredion is an ingredients solution company that makes sweeteners, starches, nutrition ingredients, and biomaterials that are used in other products like food, beverages, paper, pharmaceuticals, and more. The company came into its current form in 2014, but stands on a 100-year foundation of innovations in ingredient science. One of the earliest innovations in ingredient science still used today by Ingredion was in 1906. The Corn Products Refining company was founded and began producing starches for multiple uses. By the 21st century, the company was creating beauty products, snack foods, and alternative sweeteners. After entering an agreement with Alliance Grain Traders in 2014, Ingredion was officially born, with years of invention and discovery behind and ahead of it.
