Ohio Roots, National Footprint
Though a largely regional firm, Porter Wright has a track record of getting involved in national affairs. Founder Richard Harrison began his legal career in 1846, riding on horseback from town to town to provide legal services to much of central Ohio. Later, as a member of the Ohio Senate, he wrote its resolution of support to keep Ohio in the Union during the Civil War.
