While Deloitte maintains a presence in over 35 European countries, there's no formal Europe-specific entity at the firm. There is, however, a parent company, known as Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (DTT), which is a collection of more than 70 firms with a global reach that encompasses nearly 150 countries and 150,000 employees, and offers services in four major areas: consulting, audit, tax and financial advisory. Organized as a Swiss verein, DTT's member firms each have access to one another's areas of expertise (often working side by side on projects), while maintaining separate identities and legal standing.
