After a successful restructuring of its sports car manufacturing business in 1994, Porsche had gained so much experience and knowledge in overcoming crises that it started making its expertise available to other companies. Four Porsche employees formed the founding team of Porsche Consulting, which has gone on to become a globally active management consultancy.
