Bombas was founded in 2013 by friends Randy Goldberg and David Heath. The two started their sock company not because of a certain passion for the product, but because of a passion for providing it to those in need. Goldberg and Heath learned that socks were often the most requested clothing item for homeless shelters. With this in mind, the two set out to establish a “buy-one-give-one” sock company. In order to provide the most socks possible to those in need, Bombas aimed to design the most comfortable, well-made socks in order to appeal to the thoughtful consumer.
