If you’ve been to a construction site, it’s likely you’ve seen Ingersoll Rand’s handiwork. It’s a manufacturing company that produces air compressors, pumps, fluid management systems, power tools, lifting mechanisms, and other industrial equipment. The company as it exists currently is the result of a spin-off from what’s now called Trane Technologies, an Irish-domiciled company. The current iteration of Ingersoll Rand is headquartered in Davidson, North Carolina, and its chairman and CEO is Vicente Reynal.

Ingersoll Rand is divided into two segments: Industrial Technologies and Services (ITS) and Precision and Science Technologies (PST), which make different equipment and parts but still revolve around similar themes of construction and industrial equipment.
