Intern Reviews

  • “Everyone there was easy to get along with and fun. Everyone there was knowledgeable, and I was able to learn at least one thing from all the people I've cycled through working with.”
  • “Hours were tailored to my class schedule as a school-year intern. Firm culture is welcoming, focused on developing teams from within and providing upskilling opportunities for team members. Supervisors are strongly oriented toward work/life balance with check-ins on workload vs new projects.”
  • “I worked 40 hours a week whilst at CBIZ. However, the firm offers ‘summer hours,’ so I was able to flex my hours so that I only had to work 4 hours on Fridays. I truly believe I have a great life balance here. My in-charges are super understanding and supportive.”
  • “Firm culture and overall environment at CBIZ can be described as very inclusive and inviting. Conversations in the office are always kept very light and sociable while still professional and objective driven. The work/life balance is an adjustment, but is to be expected.”

Getting Hired Here

  • “I loved that there were no pre-recorded interviews, as these feel extremely difficult and off-putting. I had one interview with a recruiter who asked basic questions about myself and then an interview with my now manager and coworker. Again, this did not feel overly tricky, and although I'm not sure how many applicants they were choosing between, I would imagine they had a good field.”
  • “I think the hiring process went smoothly on my end. I heard back within a couple of weeks of submitting my resume. I had a call with a recruiter and a final interview with my supervisor. Both calls went well; they were friendly and engaging. I do think they put a lot of thought into who they hire.”
  • “The hiring process for my internship was thorough and insightful. I submitted my application online, then went through a phone screening and a panel interview with senior tax professionals. Although it was a long process due to the high number of applicants, I understood the need for thoroughness.”
  • “I enjoyed and felt comfortable during my interviews. I felt like my interviewers truly took the time to get to know me, which made me more excited about the offer.”
