Intern Reviews
- “Firm culture is excellent. The internship is fully on site with the goal of interns experiencing the culture of the office, but full-time positions have more flexibility regarding remote work. Work/life balance is prioritized in the firm. Additionally, Fridays during the internship are reserved for ED Cares community service projects, giving interns the opportunity to feel like they are making a difference in their communities.”
- “The firm embodies a culture of care—everyone I encountered here not only wants to teach me but also cares who I am as a person and what matters to me. I found a safe place to ask questions and to learn at my pace. We were asked to come in from 8-5 with an hour for lunch. Tuesday through Thursday were focused on client work, while Monday and Friday focus more on intern activities and community involvement. If they thought I was working too much (staying until 5 on Friday), they'd reach out to make sure I didn't have too much on my plate or if I needed help with anything.”
- “Everyone from the top down has a mindset of one firm—we all work together. There is a huge attitude around empowering everyone to learn and ask questions, and we were everything was an opportunity to learn. It's a 40-hour-a-week internship, but it's a great way to experience working normal office hours the way you would if you were working full time. There were also so many opportunities to connect with employees at the firm—from new staff to firm leadership—and all of them treated us with respect and as professionals.”
- “During my internship, the quality of life was quite positive. The firm culture was collaborative and supportive, with a strong emphasis on professional development and learning. Colleagues were approachable and always willing to offer guidance, creating an environment that was both challenging and encouraging.”
Getting Hired Here
- “The interview process was simple, as you apply through their website and have a single interview with two managers. The interview itself was not difficult—their questions had to do more with what you desire in your future career and describing the firm's culture than asking the usual ‘tell me about yourself’ questions. It felt more like a casual conversation.”
- “The hiring process was very well organized. I was communicated with in a very timely manner and on a very professional level. My timeline from application to offer was about a month, and I felt very well informed throughout the entire process.”
- My interactions with recruitment and those involved in the interview process were very positive. My enthusiasm and excitement increased with every call, email, and video meeting. The questions were not too difficult, and everyone was personable and informative. There were clear standards, and I'm glad to have met them.”
- “Interviews were personal. I only went through one interview where I met with two people from the tax department. The process is pretty selective though. I had a 4.0 when I applied, but my friend with a lower GPA did not get the internship.”
