Intern Reviews
- “The work hours of the accounting field are always going to be bad during ‘busy season.’ However, I find myself working less than others at my level and feel comfortable with voicing my opinions or making requests to my supervisors.”
- “The firm made us interns feel cared for here. There wasn't a day where I felt like I didn't matter, and that didn't just apply to interns, but it was evident that the staff were just as cared for. Everyone has been friendly and open to help out. We were required to work 40 hours a week, however, they also respect our time outside of your as once it hits 6 PM, you will not receive another email until the next workday.”
- “During my internship, I had an outstanding experience in terms of the quality of life. The firm culture and overall environment were both highly positive and supportive. From day one, I felt welcomed and valued as a part of the team. The atmosphere was conducive to growth and learning, fostering an environment where everyone was encouraged to share ideas and collaborate. Overall, my internship provided a supportive and nurturing environment that allowed me to thrive both professionally and personally. The firm's dedication to its employees' well-being and work/life balance significantly contributed to a fulfilling experience, making it a place I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a positive and enriching internship opportunity.”
- “The internship was a hybrid mode. We were required to come in every Tuesday and Thursday of the internship. Usually, once a week on any given day, there was an event that involved either all the interns or everyone at the local office. We would frequently go out during lunchtime and eat at a local restaurant. The culture was very nice. The workspace did not feel like a typical office environment as everyone talked freely amongst themselves. The balance was very nice, as working from home three out of the five days helped balance the lifestyle. We were also required to work eight hours a day, so pretty normal. The firm engaged in a lot of group events, which really helped work not feel like work but rather a culture.”
Getting Hired Here
- “For the Interview process as an intern, I had one call with the recruiter, a Zoom test to test my accounting knowledge, an almost two-hour interview with two senior managers and a Q&A section about the firm. The overall interview experience, in my opinion, was long but rewarding.”
- “The hiring process was not so bad. I liked that they did not fully focus on behavioral questions, but they also wanted to get to know you as an individual. I also liked that they had their staff be a part of the interviews because they are the ones you will be engaging with every day, so it was nice to get to check if we were a good fit.”
- “Application process was very easy. Firm gave quick and timely responses regarding my application and set/met promised timing goals. Interviewers were very friendly and understanding of nervousness. The two interviews were not difficult. First round interview was with recruiting to get some background knowledge and facts. If passed, the second-round interview was with partners, managers, and staff. Everyone was professional, understanding, and very humble/helpful.”
- “Interviews were a two-round process, and I spoke with different levels of staff as well as a manager and partner. I thought the process was nice. They asked a lot of challenging questions.”
