About the Program
The Spirit AeroSystems internship program is open to college juniors and seniors, and includes several available pathways, including quality assurance, operations, engineering, research and development, human resources, accounting, or marketing, among many others. Interns will receive on-the-job training in the pathway of their choice, where they will learn valuable career lessons and develop important skills for their full-time careers.

About the Company
Spirit AeroSystems’ roots can be traced back to the late 1920s, when the Stearman Aircraft Company was purchased by Boeing in Wichita, Kansas. Many substantial aircraft were developed during this time, including the B-29 Superfortress, B-47 Stratojet, and B-52 Stratofortress. In 2005, Boeing sold its Wichita division, which later became known as Spirit AeroSystems.
