Intern Reviews

  • “In general, the internship's quality of life is substantially better than other firms in the industry. Long hours are an inherent part of Investment Banking, therefore work/life balance may not be perfect; however, the firm's people are very supportive in everyone's priorities which improves the quality of life. In addition, many individuals encourage the interns to find work/life balance, which contributes to the positive attitude towards work/life balance.”
  • “The firm's culture and overall environment was superb. The analysts and associates that I worked directly with were incredibly helpful and provided meaningful insight and guidance throughout the summer that allowed me to truly develop as a summer analyst. The group also had a good attitude towards work life balance.”
  • “Great culture and overall work/life balance. People at the firm hold you to a high standard and expect quality work, however, everyone is open to providing help when needed and always happy to share tips and tricks. Everyone has been good about weekend work and aims to keep things between Monday and Friday. ”
  • “The firm culture is great and I have had amazing interactions with everyone. The work hours have varied on days with some being very long and others not being as straining. There is a great attitude towards work/life balance encouraging people to work from home on Fridays and over the weekends if needed.”

Getting Hired Here

  • “I participated in a diversity program for the hiring process. The first interview was to receive admission to the program, which followed a super day of four interviews. My interactions with interviewers were overall positive as everyone was very friendly. The 4 super day interviews were broken down into behavioral, technical, paper LBO, and markets. The interview difficulty overall varied by person; but in my opinion, the technical interview was the most difficult.”
  • “The interview process was helpful in providing a clear understanding of the team and getting the opportunity to meet team members. The process was relatively quick which was also appreciated.”
  • “The interview process consisted of a first round and a super-day. It was all virtual, and wasn't too technically challenging.”
  • “Great interview process that wasn't overly stressful. Interviewers typically established a rapport before diving into any technical questions. If you got a question wrong, they would take a moment to explain the right answer before moving on, which I appreciated. ”
