Intern Reviews
- “It was an absolutely flexible and comfortable environment with Nutanix. I was allowed to work remotely as well since I was collaborating [with] the US Team and doing nightly calls, but they were accommodating and fully aware of the commitments I had prior. It was an ideal 9-5 work hours [where] they respected our personal space and never crossed boundaries. I had access to multiple benefits, and this surely was a real morale booster and honestly [was] not provided by any other companies for my peers.”
- “Work-life balance and company culture overall are great. I think one of the strongest aspects of the company is its people and the supportive environment that is created by those individuals. As long as you are able to deliver on your work on time, there is good flexibility on how you get that work done.”
- “Schedule was very flexible and sort of up to me as long as I completed my 40 hours of work a week. I could take breaks when I needed or leave for any appointments. People were also very friendly when I wanted to set up virtual coffee chats.”
- “There is a very strong emphasis on a healthy work-life balance. There were occasions where working hours may have stretched to accommodate intern events with interns on Pacific Time, but it was made very clear that there was no expectation to attend those. Very friendly and social environment in the office, it's a relatively small team, so [it's] easy to settle in and get to know people.”
Getting Hired Here
- “The hiring process included a series of interviews with the team and a homework assignment to present during one of those interviews. I think I most appreciated the turnaround time, clarity on deadlines, and communication throughout the process. It is very appreciated by applicants.”
- “Interviewers are experienced and accommodating.”
- “The interview process was very efficient. The pre-interview technical assessment was specific to the role (i.e. not a standard LeetCode style problem) and required a bit more effort than some others. Then one interview with a hiring manager, then a final technical interview with an engineering director and staff engineer. A lot of that revolved around the pre-interview problem. The pre-interview problem was harder than for many companies, but that was reflected in how it was centered in later interviews.”
