Introduction
FTI Consulting’s summer internship allows students the unique opportunity to get involved in real-life consulting work early in their careers, wherever their interest in the field happens to lie. The program provides ample training and networking opportunities alongside the firsthand work experience.

How To Apply
Recruiting Process & Timeline
- Apply to a business segment posting (i.e. Corporate Finance & Restructuring, Technology, Strategic Communication, Economic Consulting, Forensic & Litigation Consulting).
- A Preference Form and a Pre-Recorded Video interview will then be sent via email and must be completed to be considered for this role.
- The Preference Form will allow you to indicate a preferred market location and practice area of interest within this respective segment.
- Pre-Recorded Video Interview – Consists of 2 questions with 1 minute to respond to each.
- Candidates will be notified of their application status and potential next steps within 1 week of applications closing.
- Final update regarding candidacy will be communicated throughout the process.

About the Program
The internship program typically lasts for 10 weeks and is available in several of the firm’s departments, including forensic/litigation consulting, corporate finance & restructuring, technology consulting, economic consulting, and strategic communications. Internships can take place at many of the firm’s locations, depending on the department and specific project.
