Intern Reviews

  • “Great culture, lots of team building, openness, and friendliness, and great pride for the quality of work we put in. I worked 40 hours/week and never had to do weird hours or put in more time than the expected.”
  • “Trimble has an extremely friendly and collaborative culture that even I, as a fully remote worker, could feel. My managers were very flexible with my work hours. I was expected to work eight hours but as long as I completed my tasks, it wasn't strict.”
  • “I think Trimble has an excellent company culture. There is an emphasis on collaboration and creating a cohesive workflow. Trimble employees are also very welcoming to others and encourage growing professionally and personally. There is also a great work/life balance that allows employees' personal lives to feel respected.”
  • “The overall environment in the office was great! The way Trimble treats and respects their employees is not like any company I have been with before. I was required to work 40 hours a week, but Trimble was very flexible. I relocated across the county and they allowed me to experience everything Colorado had to offer.”

Getting Hired Here

  • “I had good interactions with interviewers, and I felt that interviewers asked the important questions but in a somewhat casual environment that made it feel nice yet still professional. I felt that I was able to answer the interviewers’ questions, and some questions did make me think about my personal experiences, which is a nice thing.”
  • “I think the hiring process was fairly smooth and straightforward. There was a thorough questioning and explaining on-the-job expectations during the interview. Casual conversation was also held that made the process feel more comfortable and authentic.”
  • “I had one HR screening interview, which I think may have been partially a behavioral interview, and one technical interview with my current manager. The technical interview was not incredibly difficult but was challenging enough to test the computer science fundamentals that are required to be effective in an engineering position at Trimble MAPS. I got the feeling that my manager was equally interested in my ability to program in front of him and my ability to converse about technical features such as code efficiency, caching, and the like. If you paid attention in the equivalent of your Data Structures & Algorithms and Computer Architecture courses, you should have an edge!”
  • “The process was quite quick. I got scheduled for an interview, attended the interview, and received an offer within two weeks. The interviewers were great. They made me feel less nervous about interviewing and were more interested in seeing how I handled the problem within a limited time rather than stressing about completing it.”
