Intern Reviews

  • “Trimble's culture is very welcoming and engaging. I know I matter as a person here. It is so cool to know our company participates in Pride, actively provides diverse resources, and makes connections imperative. I work in person three days of the week. Working at home provides its benefits, but so does the office. I'm glad to get the mix for inspiration, connection, and motivational purposes. Trimble values people's lives beyond work. I got to travel during my internship, which I think is a very nice privilege. I also hear the support and encouragement that the higher-ups around me get when they travel. It’s nice to come to this environment.”
  • “The culture at Trimble is absolutely amazing. Every person I have met is incredibly open-minded and willing to help. Most employees take lunch around noon, and it feels like the whole office is in the pavilion, laughing and socializing. Furthermore, there is a lot of flexibility and communication around doing what you need to do for your mental health, doctor's appointments, and whatever else life throws at us. We also had the opportunity to participate in a volunteer half-day which was valuable.”
  • “My team is full of amazing mentors. They are kind, patient, and great teachers. Because this is a remote internship, I've had ideal flexibility and work/life balance, and I've actually received more time for my personal life than I expected from such a huge company. The general attitude toward work/life balance has been very positive, and my coworkers remember the smallest details about each other's lives. It really is a family.”
  • “Being a part of a laid-back, understanding team with flexible work hours allowed me to stay in my intern position while I was in school full time. This allowed me to gain experience in the workplace and obtain my degree at the same time. Flexible hours where I work from home has given me so much free time compared to my previous retail job, so I can focus on school, and my job helps me work towards my future goals.”

Getting Hired Here

  • “I went through three rounds of interviews. First, I spoke with HR, then my team's manager, and finally my direct manager. All were very welcoming, and the interviews felt more like a friendly conversation.”

  • “The application was straightforward and did not take very long. The first interview was simple, quick, and friendly, and the second interview was longer and where most technical questions were asked. Overall, the process went smoothly, but they did have quite high standards for soft skills/personality. I can understand this, though, as they are trying to maintain their strong company culture.”
  • “The interview process is what I expected. I had two interviews, one with a recruiter and then another with three potential supervisors. The interviews were well-organized and I was able to express myself during them. I believe their standards were selective. And they were very informative throughout the whole process on how their interview process works.”
  • “I met with a recruiter in person and then had one interview with my now-current manager. The interview was not technical at all and was more about getting to know me and a few questions to see how I process decision making. After not getting the job the first time, a month later I was contacted that another position opened up and I could have it if I wanted it without any more interviews.”
