Intern Reviews

  • “As expected in investment banking, the hours can be demanding. The firm strongly emphasizes a protected Saturday, but like many firms, this can depend on the deal flow. Lincoln has strong leadership with a clear focus on maintaining a positive company culture. The HR and Recruiting team are exceptional compared to other firms, and it's evident that the company invests in its people.”
  • “M&A inherently requires significant work hours. However, Lincoln's culture goes a long way in mitigating burnout while providing a supportive environment for the interns while in the program.”
  • “The culture is amazing. People are kind and welcoming. The number of hours is long, but it is true of any investment bank.”
  • “Firm culture is top tier. Everyone was not only respectful but showed themselves as people I actually want to work with. Hours are long but that was to be expected. All requests were reasonable, and there was discernment as far as the urgency of completing tasks. Work from home on Fridays is generally accepted.”

Getting Hired Here

  • “Had two days of interviewing. Nothing too difficult. As long as you fit the culture and nail down your technicals, you will be okay.”
  • “My interactions with interviewers were fantastic. They spent time getting to know me and built a full picture of who I was before bringing me in for a final interview. I don’t think the interviews were difficult because it was more about who you were as a person rather than technicals.”
  • “Incredibly professional recruiting process. Transparent and effective.”
