About the Company

Constellation Brands began in 1945. At just 21 years old, founder Marvin Sands began selling wine in bulk with eight employees after purchasing Canadaigua Industries. In its first year, the company sold 200,000 gallons of wine and gross sales came in at $150,000. Just over 15 years later, the company grew sales to $8 million. Intern Reviews

  • “I had a hybrid role and worked in the office 3x a week and 2x a week at home. very flexible work setting, beautiful office with lots of cool features. Great team and very close group of interns that became friends. Company culture is great, the office is great to be in, and everyone respected my work-life balance.”
  • “40 hours a week for 12 weeks but with half-day Fridays! I was able to make so many great connections with people in the company throughout the duration of my internship. I felt that every person I met was very passionate about their own work as well as the company as a whole. Everyone was super helpful and encouraging.”
  • “The culture at Constellation Brands is everything. Everyone is willing to help you and is more than willing to meet you. I have never felt that I am treated less than anyone, even though I am an intern. They are very flexible with your work/life balance, and there has never been a problem with that. We are required to work 35-40 hours on a normal week.”
  • “We have many events/presentations that emphasize the importance of company culture. The overall environment is inclusive and an entirely great space to work in. The maximum hours I work per week is 40, and work/life balance is manageable. Employees are very understanding if things were to pop up during work hours.”

Getting Hired Here

  • “My interviewer was confident and made me feel comfortable. I felt that his questions were challenging but fair, and many of the questions allowed me to gauge how well I felt I fit the company's existing culture. At the time, I felt that I was a good applicant despite my lack of experience in the field, and given my current position at the company, I would say that the interviewer assessed me well.”
  • “I had one interview with the hiring manager and director of the team. The scheduling process was very smooth, and I felt challenged by the interview questions with multiple opportunities to ‘brag’ about myself and my skills.”
  • “I felt the hiring process was okay. It was nice to meet with the interviewers and get a quick background about the team. I do feel the situational questions were strange and could be tough to answer if not ready for those types of questions that seemed borderline hypotheticals.”
  • “I applied for this internship through Handshake and only had one interview. My interactions with the interviewers were great and most questions asked were teamwork based. I do wish the hiring process contained more information about what I should expect at the start of my internship, but overall, I was updated quite frequently after I was hired.”
