Intern Reviews
- “Relaxed and friendly culture, very receptive to questions, making it easy to learn.”
- “Company culture is incredible; everyone is always willing to help or just share what they're working on. Forty hours a week required, and the schedule is hybrid, so most people do M/F from home.”
- “The culture at Iridium was extremely open and friendly. Power distance in the company felt minimal and even as an intern, I felt that my ideas were heard and considered in decisions. People across departments were also willing to take time out of their day to have conversations with me so I could learn more about the company and industry.”
- “They heavily encourage quality work like balance and have lots of after-work events and festivities. The engineers pride themselves on fostering quality connections between employees.”
Getting Hired Here
- “After being informed via email that I was selected for an interview, the recruiter called me to let me know how the interview process would work. The first interview was with 2 people from different parts of the company and was mostly general situational questions. The second interview was with my now manager and one of his colleagues, and they asked me about my technical experience and resume. After the second interview, I was offered the job.”
- “The process was very smooth and informational; my interactions were about average for an interview. I will say there was a lot of positive reinforcement in the process of the interviews from the interviewers.”
- “The hiring process was relatively smooth, although I had six conversations before receiving my offer. However, this process, to me, indicated that Iridium really cared about the fit of interns they bring on board. I noticed this quality in my fellow interns, which impressed me.”
- “Seemed pretty normal to me.”
