Intern Reviews

  • “The culture is definitely one of hard workers, but everyone is kind and willing to be collaborative. I would say the IB teams do work a lot, but it is nice to see that work pay off.”
  • “I feel that the quality of life at my internship is exceptional. The firm culture and overall environment are very people-driven and focus on making sure that every client and employee feels valued, supported, and appreciated. I am required to work 40 hours a week. The general attitude toward work/life balance is also very great. The hybrid environment allows for a lot of flexibility and ensures people are able to prioritize their needs for what works best for their work/life balance. I feel that the company is very understanding and doesn't want employees to feel overworked or overstressed.”
  • “Firm culture is good, everyone is very nice to work with and will go out of their way to help you. I would say the hours are consistently on the long side, and the work/life balance is not strong.”
  • “The company culture is very welcoming. Everyone is on a first-name basis, and it is encouraged to speak to employees all the way up to CEOs. Making connections has been really easy and the work is not demanding and very manageable.”

Getting Hired Here

  • “The interview and hiring process was swift and clear. The campus recruiting team had amazing communication throughout the entire process and helped me walk through the steps to join the firm.”
  • “My hiring process was very straightforward; I received a video interview where there was no other person, then I had an interview with my manager, and a few weeks later received an offer. It was very laidback and open; the interview wasn't difficult, and I believe the selection process was more for if the managers thought you were a good match, and so it was up to their discretion.”
  • “It's hard to speak on the selection process they used to interview. However, the interview experience was unique and memorable. The initial interview via recording was new, but easy enough to navigate through. The two following panel interviews were great, hearing from different people about their roles at RJ was extremely beneficial.”
  • “The process was straightforward: I applied online, got an interview with the hiring manager, and then moved on to the final interview with my direct manager and his boss. I heard back a couple of weeks later, and I got a call from the hiring manager before the emailed offer. The interviews were very informative and allowed me ample time to talk about myself and the fit with the company. It also was easy to have normal conversations with the people I interviewed with.”
