Intern Reviews

  • “Vermeer makes work/life balance a priority for all employees and provided me with the resources to make that possible. The culture is very great as all employees feel valued and, in turn, provide value to the company itself. I was required to work 40 hours per week.”

  • “The people I interacted with on a daily basis were overall fun people to work with and get to know. Standard 40-hour weeks. Started early in the morning but allowed me to have most of the afternoons to myself.”
  • “I was very satisfied with the company culture as well as the culture of my team. My manager was very understanding and supported my life both inside and outside of work when other obligations arose.”
  • “Very good culture, the whole company has a ‘people first’ mindset. Hours were very fair and manageable. The company did not overstep at all in my personal life.”

Getting Hired Here

  • “I had two interviews before finding out that I was accepted for the position. The interviews had a good level of difficulty, but I liked how they were more focused on understanding who I was as a person rather than only on what I offer.”

  • “I was very satisfied with the internship hiring process. I was hired through the career fair. I spoke with a recruiter and got an interview set up for the very next morning. After that single ~30-minute interview, I was offered a position about a week later. I was given two full weeks to make a decision. I appreciated the quick decision-making on Vermeer's end. I never felt like I was left waiting.”
  • “The application process was straightforward, and their recruiting team was inviting and easy to get a hold of.”
  • “Interviews were not difficult, no technical questions, only behavioral questions. They do look for those that have characteristics in line with the company culture.”
