Introduction
Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) conducts R&D relating to the generation, delivery, and use of electricity for the benefit of the public. As an independent, nonprofit organization, EPRI brings together its scientists and engineers as well as experts from academia and industry to help address challenges in electricity, including reliability, efficiency, affordability, health, safety, and the environment.

The Student Program at EPRI offers undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students the opportunity to participate in some of the world’s leading research and development focused on the electricity industry by:

About the Company
Founded in 1972 following the Great Northeastern Blackout, which left 30 million people without power for a very cold 13 hours, EPRI’s goal is to drive innovation to ensure the public has clean, safe, reliability, affordable, and equitable access to electricity.
EPRI conducts research and develops solutions related to the generation, delivery, and use of electricity while collaborating with more than 450 companies in 45 countries and employs more than 1,300 people worldwide.
