On October 27th, Firsthand will host a Diversity & Inclusion Internship Virtual Career Fair. This unique fair offers the rare opportunity to increase your internship prospects and connect with top employers. You’ll get to meet with a community of experts and alumni who’ll help you connect the dots between your education, career dreams, and next step forward.

At this free fair, you’ll get to visit an unlimited number of virtual employer booths, drop your resume, and schedule one-on-one video sessions with top employers. Before the fair, beginning October 22nd, you’ll be able to explore employer booths and book 20-minute personal conversations with employers.

On the day of the fair, in addition to the ability to meet with top employers, you’ll get access to several live events, including a keynote talk by a Harvard College career advisor and best-selling author, a fireside with one of the top 25 Women Leaders in IT Services, and a panel discussion about where to find internships.

Featured Speaker: Gorick Ng, Career Advisor at Harvard College and a Wall Street Journal bestselling author

At the fair, you’ll be able to hear and learn from Gorick Ng, a career advisor at Harvard College and the Wall Street Journal bestselling author of The Unspoken Rules: Secrets to Starting Your Career Off Right. Ng is the son of a working-class single mother turned first-gen college student turned Harvard grad turned investment banker turned management consultant turned Harvard MBA turned author. At Harvard, Ng specializes in coaching first-generation, low-income students. He's also a researcher with the Managing the Future of Work project at Harvard Business School. Previously, Gorick worked at the Boston Consulting Group and Credit Suisse. 

Fireside Chat with Inderpreet Sawhney, Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Infosys

Inderpreet Sawhney leads the legal and compliance function and is a strategic business partner ensuring success for Infosys in legal and regulatory matters, while spearheading the tech services firm's compliance and ethics program. Inderpreet serves on the Board of Directors of NYSE listed Hillenbrand Inc. and is a member of the National Advisory Council of SABANA (South Asian Bar Association of North America). She 's a recipient of the Thought Leadership Award at the 2018 Global Transformative Leadership Awards and was featured among the top 25 Women Leaders in IT Services of 2020, published by The IT Services Report.
